Meet Dr. Phil Hong Nguyen, MD—the aesthetic artist who’s been perfecting the craft of beauty since 2001. Known for his talent both in and out of the clinic, Dr. Phil is as much at home with a paintbrush or sculpting tools as he is with a syringe. His recent on-screen appearances in Hulu's *Clipped* and *Interior Chinatown* prove that he's as versatile as they come. And when it comes to aesthetics, he's got more than two decades of experience and a philosophy that beauty is about enhancement, not exaggeration.
Dr. Phil specializes in a variety of treatments, from Botox and Dysport to Juvederm and Restylane fillers, Sculptra, Radiesse, and Cellenis Derma PRP. He’s a pro with IPL, Erbium Micro Laser Peels, laser tattoo removal, and fractionated Erbium lasers. With his extensive knowledge of Asian skin, Dr. Phil has mastered the art of tackling fine lines, wrinkles, pigmentation, hollowness, and dullness—helping clients achieve their best look with sophistication and subtlety.
His motto? "Subtle is the New Wow!" Dr. Phil believes beauty is about refined enhancement, not an overdone look that catches eyes for all the wrong reasons. In his words, "Anyone can throw Botox and fillers into your face, but making it look good is an art."
Dr. Phil speaks English and Vietnamese fluently, and knows enough of Spanish, French, Thai and Mandarin to be dangerous. He is a world traveler and foodie, with his favorite place to visit being Southeast Asia. Dr. Phil is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery.

1 — Artistry
Way before medical school, one of my first loves was art. You can experience the magic behind someone else’s art with your interpretation, but I enjoyed the power of being behind the brush and in front of a canvas. Even though it’s with a needle instead of a paintbrush, I am very thankful that this continues today with Happy Clinic. You have a unique canvas, and my main goal is to take your goals and my aesthetic expertise to enhance those features that make you unique, whether it be a subtle change or a complete makeover.
2 — Expertise
During my earlier years of opening up my practice in 1990, it took me literature after literature, triumphs after errors, and learning from others to figure out the best techniques to give Happy Clinic® patients the best and happiest results. Practice indeed makes perfect, and I have had the opportunity to perfect my skills to build your trust while in my chair so that you can have a picture-perfect outcome.
3 — Impact
In everything I seek to do in life, one of my goals has been to leave an impact. I remember being younger and having those days that were “not-so-great” made better by people who exhibited the uttermost kindness— these were individuals who made the most impact on me. Over time I learned the importance of impacting others by always choosing kindness and ensuring that I give you the opportunity to look and feel your best after leaving my chair.
