What is the difference between NouvadDerm and other devices like fractional CO2 and Erbium lasers?
Fractional CO2 and Erbium lasers are much more painful with much more downtime, up to two weeks of oozing, peeling, and redness. Patients just don't have the time for downtime and pain of these treatments, and have demanded less invasive, but extremely effective procedures with minimum pain.
How many treatments are required?
We recommend 3 treatments spaced 4-6 weeks apart for optimum results. These treatments can be repeated yearly to continue collagen stimulation and rejuvenation.

How long does an Nouvaderm Thullium Laser treatment take?
Most treatments take anywhere from about 10-15 minutes for an area the size of your face. It is a continuous motion treatment instead of a stamping treatment - giving patients much faster treatment times, with minimum pain and minimum downtime.
What should I expect during treatment?
Depending on the settings used, the lightest treatments are lunchtime treatments - no/minimum pain, no/minimum downtime, where patients are red for about 3 hours afterwards, and can return back to work almost immediately. Stronger settings will have more downtime.
